With only 30 days left until the University of Georgia kicks off the 2016 football season in the Georgia Dome against the University of North Carolina, take a moment to Know Your Bulldogs.
The No. 30 Bulldogs jersey will be worn by running back Tae Crowder. And with injuries wreaking havoc on the UGA running back corps as fall quickly approaches, his jersey may be seen running at opposing defenses sooner rather than later.
Of note, Crowder was once a Georgia Southern commit, but a lifelong UGA fan who was never on the Bulldogs recruiting radar. Until two days before National Signing Day, that is, when UGA missed out on another running back and wanted to fill the spot. An unexpected phone call fro Mark Richt is all it took to flip Crowder to be a Bulldog signee two days later, despite never stepping foot on the UGA campus in Athens.
