Transportation Security Administration spokesperson Lisa Farbstein on Twitter Friday said that a boa constrictor was found in carry-on luggage that had gone through the X-ray machine last month.

Woman claimed the snake was her emotional support pet,” said Farbstein.

According to “Today,” the boa constrictor was reportedly 4 feet long. X-ray images show the snake near some shoes and what looks like a laptop inside the luggage.

“Our officers at Tampa International Airport didn’t find this hyssssssterical! Coiled up in a passenger’s carry-on was a 4′ boa constrictor! We really have no adder-ation for discovering any pet going through an x-ray machine,” said TSA on Instagram.

Farbstein said that the woman’s airline was notified about the snake and decided that there was not going to be a reptile on one of their planes.

No further information has been released including what happened to the snake.
