CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Rock legend Mick Jagger visited an iconic bar in Charlotte on Wednesday night and nobody noticed, according to WSOC-TV.
Jagger posted a photo of himself on Twitter early Thursday showing him “out and about” at the Thirsty Beaver Saloon. He appeared to be sipping on a beer as bar patrons looked in other directions.
The Rolling Stones were in town to play the second date on their “No Filter” tour at Bank of America Stadium.
Brian Wilson, a co-owner of the Thirsty Beaver, told WSOC that despite being a world-renowned rocker, Jagger “went unnoticed.”
The 13-date “No Filter” tour had been scheduled to begin in May 2020, though it was pushed back because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, CNN reported.
The band will next play Monday in Pittsburgh before continuing on to Nashville; Los Angeles; Minneapolis; Tampa, Florida; Dallas; Las Vegas; Atlanta; Detroit and Austin, Texas.
