Wanda Dench and Jamal Hinton met in 2016 when Dench accidentally texted Hinton instead of her grandson, and the two met up for that Thanksgiving and every Thanksgiving since. Last month, they shared pictures from this year’s holiday, as previously reported.

Hinton announced the pair would be making a movie on Instagram, saying “We thank every single one of you for your love and support in our journey the last 6 years. We can’t wait to tell our story on the big screen!”

The film is set to be written by Abdul Williams, who also wrote “The Bobby Brown Story” and “Lottery Ticket”, CBS News reported.

The movie will be called “The Thanksgiving Text” and will recount the viral tale that began in 2016, Variety reported.
