Athens-Clarke County Police report the arrest of a rape suspect, a man charged in a sexual assault reported at a homeless camp off College Station Road in Athens. Suspect Stephen Sims is 20 years old, from Athens.

We have this morning the name of the Athens man killed in a single-vehicle accident on Tallassee Road: Darius Stanley was 27 years old. The crash happened on Tallassee near the Chadd’s Walk subdivision. Athens-Clarke County Police are investigating.

The GBI says a man wanted on child sex charges in Oconee County has been arrested in Union County New Jersey: 34 year-old Eric Talley, who is a registered sex offender in New Jersey, is facing child porn charges there. Charges in Oconee County include sexual exploitation of a child.

There are child molestation allegations for a man in Gainesville: The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says charges against 23 year-old Miguel Aguilar-Reyes stem from an incident reported last November, in which he allegedly injured a young girl.
