The GBI says it is looking for five people in the case of a Barrow County woman who was reported missing and later found dead. 37 year-old Rossana Delgado disappeared on April 16. She was last seen on that date in DeKalb County. On April 20, the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office conducted a welfare check at a home in Cherry Log. A body found at the scene was later identified as Delgado. Autopsy results are pending.

The search continues in Lake Lanier, where the Georgia Department of Natural Resources is looking for the body of Dorian Pinson, 20 years old, from Greenville South Carolina. He disappeared while swimming more than a week ago. He was in the water with two friends who were rescued near Sunrise Cove Marina in Hall County.

We have this morning the name of the woman who died in last week’s fall at Tallulah Gorge: investigators in Habersham County say Nancy Smith was 58 years old, from Blue Ridge. Her body was recovered by crews from Habersham and Rabun counties. There are murder charges for a man in Dacula: Gwinnett County Police say 37 year-old Vernell Cheneau Jr shot and killed a family member.

Police in Clarkston say one of their officers was injured after a suspect trying to get away hit him with his car. It happened after Clarkston Police responded to a reported case of domestic violence. There were only minor injuries for the officer, who was treated and released from Grady; the suspect was arrested in Stone Mountain.
