Texas native Hudson Westbrook sings soulful country music with heartfelt lyrics and a bit of rock flair. He'd only been playing guitar for a few years when one of his first songs, "Take It Slow," became a streaming success in early 2024. His career took off in a hurry, and by year's end he'd released his first EP and landed further hits with tracks like "5 to 9," "Pray Your Name," and "House Again," all of which paved the way for his debut album, 2025's Texas Forever.
Raised in Stephenville, Texas, Westbrook began playing guitar in 2020 and wrote his first songs a few years later after enrolling in college. He released his debut single, the laid-back country-rocker "Take It Slow," in April 2024, and it quickly gained traction on streaming platforms. He signed with the River House agency and followed up a few months later with the more uptempo "Two Way Drive." By the time he delivered his self-titled debut EP in November, Westbrook's audience had grown significantly thanks in part to songs like "5 to 9," "Pray Your Name," and "House Again," the latter of which cracked the Top 30 of the Hot Country Songs Chart. In July 2025, he delivered his full-length debut, Texas Forever, which included "House Again" as well as "Lie to Me" featuring Mackenzie Carpenter. ~ Timothy Monger
