Reality stars Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley will be getting out of prison a lot earlier than expected, thanks to President Trump.
He announced his plans to pardon the Chrisleys, who were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion back in 2022.
Todd and Julie became famous on the reality series “Chrisley Knows Best.”
White House communications advisor Margo Martin shared a video of Trump on the phone with the couple’s daughter Savannah to share the news that her parents were getting pardoned and would be released from prison soon.
“It’s a terrible thing, but it’s a great thing because your parents are going to be free and clean, and I hope we can do it by tomorrow,” Trump said. “We’ll try getting it done tomorrow. I don’t know them, but give them my regards and wish them a good life.”
Todd was scheduled to be released from prison in January 2033 and Julie was scheduled to be released in October 2028. Their sentences were shortened when they surrendered in January 2023.
