Kelsea Ballerini performed at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night (Oct. 29), and when she sang her song “Penthouse”, a lyric about her dog made her burst into tears on stage.
There is a line in the song about her dog, Dibs, who has cancer in his heart. The cancer is inoperable and Kelsea has been struggling with it for months.
She wasn’t able to finish singing the song, but the crowd jumped in and finished it for her.
