On Tuesday, Kane Brown was a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show!
Kane talked about being on tour with his three adorable kids, and his new album, The High Road. He also shared his New Year’s resolution of stopping nicotine. With that, he learned comes depression, something he’s always struggled with. Kane admitted he’s going through lots of toothpicks right now.
He also told Kelly a story about a young fan he bumped into during one of his shows who was holding up a sign. He gave the fan a big hug and continued performing. Kane explained that he wears Meta sunglasses so he can record everything. At the time, he didn’t realize what the sign said.
“Bullied for the color of my skin, I just want a hug from Kane,” the sign read.
Kane went on to talk about his dad, who’s black, and how he was also picked on for the color of his skin. He then gave the young fan a shoutout on the show and said he loved him!
