The GBI says three men—one from Athens, another from Madison County, and a third from Oglethorpe County—have been arrested on child porn charges. Kameron Veasey is 22 years old, from Athens; Bryan Simmons is 30, from Colbert; and James Smith is 26, from Lexington. The GBI says Veasey was already in jail on unrelated charges in Madison County.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were found in a car outside a business on Georgia Highway 60: detectives in Gainesville say it appears both were shot to death in what looks to have been a murder-suicide.
A woman was killed and a man injured in a Tuesday afternoon crash on in Hall County: the two-vehicle accident happened on Highway 13 in south Hall. The injured man was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
