There were weekend arrest warrants for Georgia Bulldogs receiver Demetris Robinson: UGA campus police say he removed a parking boot from his car.

A man from Hoschton is arrested on arson charges in Alabama: 33 year-old Joshua Bagley is accused of setting the January fire that burned a church in Piedmont Alabama.

The Sheriff’s Office in Homer says speed cameras are now operating in school zones in Banks County: they’re set up near schools on Highway 441 and the Historic Homer Highway.

There are charges for a former employee of the Hall County jail: Branden Hulsey is 23 years old, from Gainesville. He’s facing charges that include criminal damage to government property after allegedly throwing a chair into a glass window at the jail in Gainesville, smashing the window and causing an estimated five thousand dollars in damage.

A faulty heating and air conditioning unit gets the blame for a Sunday morning fire call from the Hall County jail: smoke filled a section of the detention center in Gainesville. There were no injuries reported.

Gwinnett County Police say a deadly shooting in Dacula appears to have been domestic in nature: a woman in her 20s was shot and killed.
