Walden

Four friends from Athens, Georgia have started a revolution in rock music. Driven by passion and purpose, the band Walden seeks only one thing: to evoke emotion and inspiration through their music and live performance. To do so, these young men have stripped away every stigma and stereotype associated with playing in a rock band to focus on what actually matters: the music, the message, and the people. Four guys with nothing but a passion for playing shows and creating music quickly became one of the biggest upcoming musical acts in Georgia, capturing the attention of audiences of all ages with their raw sound, heartfelt messages, and the infectious energy and undeniable connection they share on stage.

Their debut EP "Painting Planets" was named one of Athens' top local albums of the year by the Red and Black. Several songs, most notably "Green Lights”, received radio airplay from Atlanta's alternative radio station 105.7. With the release of their self-titled sophomore EP last year, Walden hopes that listeners are able to feel the passion and heart that went into the creation of each song on the album. As the band continues to grow and evolve, so does their music. Their new EP represents the unique sound that the band has developed over the last four years, combining all of their influences.

Over the past four years of playing shows, Walden has gained a passionate and supportive following in their hometown of Athens, GA. They also have had the pleasure to open for well known bands such as Moon Taxi and Twiddle. However, every ounce of success amounts to nothing more than a stepping stone towards the band achieving their actual goal. With their sights aimed higher than ever, Walden remains determined to grow into a nationally recognized name.
