- Actor Glen Powell got to meet his doppelgänger - the winner of his look-a-like contest that was held in Austin in November - while on the red carpet at the Golden Globes.
- Powell and physician’s assistant Maxwell Braunstein, both in tuxedos and sunglasses, posed together on the red carpet. Powell’s mother, who picked Braunstein as the contest winner, was also on hand to say “hello” her son’s twin.
- Braunstein only expected to win a few bucks, a cowboy hat and year’s worth of free queso when he entered the contest. But Powell upped the ante, explaining in a video, “Now, you may know that my parents make a cameo in every movie I make. But today, the winner wins their parents — or any family member of their choice — a cameo in my next movie.”
- The actor then joked, “I am completely serious. This is a cash-value prize of $6 billion.”
